Is it possible to pre-scale the encoder counts on the Axis Screen?

I want to check a linear scale that I have on the machine and it also has a rotary encoder on the drive motor. They are different resolutions and I want to make it so they are the same.

This way I can start at one end of the axis and move it slowly and make sure the readouts match as it moves. So if the scale has a dead spot or something I will be able to see the difference in counts.

I am guessing I can do a multiply or divide on the encoder count with a C program?

Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave,

You can use the InputGain0 parameter to scale the encoder input for an axis channel.
